For an automotive enthusiast, this electric pickup truck needs no introduction. Tesla Cybertruck is one of the most anticipated electric trucks. Apart from its top-class specs and affordability, Cybertruck’s design makes it the center of attraction for the masses.

Unlike conventional electric trucks, Tesla Cybertruck has a monochrome exoskeleton structure. It’s built with ultra-hard 30x cold-rolled stainless steel.

While some people might complain about its odd and unique design, most of its buyers are highly inspired by it. Anyway, the best part about owning a Tesla vehicle is its widespread Supercharger network and overall infrastructure.

Back in May this year, Ford has revealed its most anticipating electric truck F-150 Lightning at an astonishing price tag. Ford surprised everyone with the specs and the price range. Initially, we thought it would be somewhere around $80,000 but it turns out to be half of that.

Ford has released it for the masses and made it quite affordable. This is the very reason why it’s the most popular upcoming electric pickup truck after the Tesla Cybertruck. In addition to its impressive specs, it’s also loaded with some exclusive features like intelligent power backup, enhanced pro power onboard, Bluecruise, and much more.

The electric Ford F-150 will rival GMC Hummer EV, Rivian R1T, and of course Tesla Cybertruck.

Though both Rivian R1T and R1S are yet to arrive on the market, Rivian is already a popular name among automakers when it comes to electric SUVs and pickup trucks. In the case of R1T, its technology, specs, build quality, design, and every other parameter seems to be up to the mark to compete in this segment.

Rivian has been testing both of its electric vehicles for a long time, leaving very little room for any glitch in the production models. We believe Rivian R1T is one of the most impressive and robust upcoming electric pickup trucks that we expect to launch in mid-2021.

Furthermore, Rivian is also planning to introduce a 400-mile long-range variant and a shorter-range variant with 250 miles of R1T in 2022.

4. GMC Hummer EV

GMC Hummer EV is the most expensive electric pickup truck here. Despite the high price tag, the pre-bookings for GMC Hummer EV are already full.

Though expensive, there are many amazing features in electric Hummer like crabwalk that allow it to move diagonally, extract mode, ultravision cameras, superfast charging ability, and more. The Hummer EV looks premium inside out.

As per the automaker, GMC Hummer EV will hit the roads in fall 2021. Apart from this, cheaper variants of Hummer EV are also in the pipeline and will be launched in 2022, 2023, and 2024 respectively. The most affordable electric Hummer will cost $79,995 and will arrive in Spring 2024.

It’s a new name in the industry; however, the specs of Atlis XT electric pickup trucks are astonishingly impressive. It rarely happens that any electric vehicle beats to challenge Tesla in terms of specifications.

We are not saying that Atlis XT is better than Tesla Cybertruck, however, both the towing and payload capacity of Atlis are better than Cybertruck. In addition, it also stands equal in terms of electric range as well. Anyway, it was just for reference and we are not here to compare these two electric trucks.

However, Atlis Motors is a new brand and it surely needs to build a strong charging and service network for its success in the industry.

The company claims Atlis XT will be launched somewhere in 2021, we expect it to arrive in 2022.

Powered by a 109 kWh battery pack, it can generate up to 600 BHP. What makes Lordstown Endurance electric truck different from others is its in-wheel hub motors. The configuration of hub motors is slightly different than conventional electric vehicles.

A hub motor is simply an electric motor fitted directly into the wheels. This type of arrangement involves lesser parts and saves energy.

There are four such hub motors in Lordstown Endurance, one on each wheel for the ultimate driving experience. In terms of safety, it’s awarded an overall safety rating of five stars. Furthermore, it’s capable of over-the-air software updates.

As an electric truck, Lordstown Endurance is not bad, however, Lordstown needs to work on its charging infrastructure and a broad network before launching it.
