Website of ISRO’s Commercial Arm Antrix Hacked by Chinese Hackers
The website of Indian Space Agency ISRO’s commercial wing Antrix Corporation was hacked on Sunday. This attack comes two days after ISRO launched five British satellites in its heaviest ever commercial launch.
Currently, the website shows “Website is under construction” message and officials are avoiding to call this misdeed a hacking incident. They said that website operators are taking the necessary steps to bring back the site to normal.
Antrix Corporation is a Rs. 1,700-crore Mini Ratna public sector undertaking (PSU) that provides services to broadcasters by marketing communication transponder capacity. Also, Antrix shares Earth imageries globally and PSLV launch services to other governments and customers.
PSLV is a new and emerging player in the global space transportation industry that comprises of players like SpaceX. As mentioned above, this ISRO hacking incident comes just two days after the celebrated five satellite launch.

The Hindu reports that officials are unaware of any hacking incident and Antrix’s website only contains public information. They also added that there is nothing to worry about.
