OnePlus 6T To Reportedly Launch In October | Expect A Price Hike
Undoubtedly, OnePlus has changed the common perception of the premium smartphones costing hundreds of dollars with their high performing devices selling at a reasonable price. No wonder, the company has surpassed Samsung and Apple regarding capturing the premium smartphone market in India.
Following the news of Android Pie coming to lots of OnePlus devices, it’s time for another round of surprise for the OnePlus fans.
According to CNET, the next OnePlus flagship, OnePlus 6T, will launch this October and T-mobile will be its first exclusive US carrier partner. In other words, a specific version of OnePlus optimized for T-mobile network.
According to people familiar with the launch plans, the optimized flagship would also include the new 600 MHz spectrum which will bring better and faster coverage network.
Apart from the T-Mobile exclusive, the company will still sell its global unlocked version for AT&T and other overseas networks. Verizon and Sprint carriers are still far away from the One Plus devices because of the different wireless standards and issues with network certification.

Regarding the price, OnePlus 6T might cost around 550 dollars (Rs. 38,000), which is slightly higher than when compared to the prices of its previous devices. It’s an important factor as OnePlus has made its name by positioning itself as a flagship killer with highly competitive pricing.
