11 Best Action Games For Android For A Real Fighting Experience In 2019
Action games are valued as the heart of gaming. And the mobility of the smartphone has made the gaming genre significantly more inclined over the Android platform.
Just one-tap on the screen gets the adrenaline jumping through the roof. Because of the increasing power of Android devices, action-games have never been able to flourish in such a way. Therefore, today we’ll talk about the best action games available for your Android device.
Seemingly, this is one Android gaming segment which is in abundance on the Google Play Store. It is difficult for you to catch big fish. So to save you the hassle, here, we listed some of the best Android action games to get the real-fighting experience.
A little heads-up: I have not included Android Shooting games since they are part of my list of “Best Shooting Games For Android.” Now, let’s get started —
11 Best Action Games For Android | 2019 Edition
1. Into the Dead 2: Zombie Survival
The sequel to the much-popular Into The Dead, the Android action game takes you on a journey in-between a zombie apocalypse. It is an auto-runner game where your goal is to avoid or kill zombies in order to save your family.
As expected from PikPok, the action game for Android is stuffed with stunning graphics and details. Its 7 chapters, 60 stages, and hundreds of challenges will retain and cage your interest indefinitely.
Into the Dead 2 offers different gameplay modes to choose from. Also, you can also upgrade to some heavy ammunition after leveling up. Of course, it gets difficult to bypass the brain-eaters after each level. But then you can play the field again or obtain added resources via in-app purchases. And you have a limited amount of stamina so you cannot play the game day-and-night.
2. Star Combat Online
If you like the idea of space combat with spaceships and guns, Star Combat Online is your go-to game. The Android action game’s spectacular 3D graphics and aircraft control system will really make you feel like playing a real space war zone.
Star Combat Online has more than 18 warships and at least 29 different weapons. You can customize your warship and add different auxiliary systems like radar, force field amplifiers, body weight reduction, etc. Apart from that, you can chat with players and combat to come at the top of the leaderboard.
Since the game is still in development, you might face a few bumps here and there. For instance, the online battle features a lot of bots now. And the interface is pretty restrictive, but the game is surely going to be a massive release.
3. Last Day on Earth: Survival
If survival games get you excited, Last Day on Earth should top your favorite list. This Android action game requires a lot of patience and thinking to make it through its end days. If you’re up for building your home, murdering zombies, and capturing other territories, then this game is for you.
To survive, you continuously need to feed yourself, build weapons and defend your land. Upon reaching higher levels, you can build a radio tower to chat with friends. The Android game is full of hurdles like you cannot carry everything so you will have chosen wisely. Also, traveling between locations takes up your energy so again, you have to rely on strategies.
At the end, it is your tactics and patience that will lead you to collect a number of resources. Last Day On Earth has real people protecting their territory, so might want to take a caution before going all-out on others.
4. Soul Knight
Soul Knight is a hit-and-run action game for Android, where you move around dungeon rooms and hallways, shooting enemies. The game only focuses on shooting guns so if you are looking for a good storyline, then you would want to skip ahead.
The game is pretty easy; you wander around the rooms with your pet and kill every last enemy. You can buy new pets and change their skin. I loved the guns part, where you can carry alternate guns and you even use magic to clear the level. This Android action game has those 90s’-like retro 2D graphics which make it even more interesting.
The game’s no-nonsense money system will certainly interest people who are fed up with free-to-play models. One thing I find discouraging is the auto-aim mechanism in which you can shoot the gun wherever you move. I would have preferred a separate aim stick for that purpose.
5. Zombie Catchers

Mostly we have talked about killing or avoiding brain-eating zombies but here, Zombie Catchers want you to capture them. Moreover, squeeze them to make juice out of them and then sell it to humans.
The Android action game may sound a little gross but the cartoon graphics actually make it appear kind of cute. Believe me! Here, even the zombies look adorable. You, being an alien, jump from a ship and lure zombies via throwing off brains and then use your harpoon gun to capture them. As the level increases, you get new gadgets such as nets, jetpacks, tranquilizing darts.
While the game is ridiculously easy at first, it gets difficult as Zombies upgrade themselves using armor, surfing boards etc. In other words, they won’t go down easily. This action game for Android also has drones to search for new zombies. Sadly, they take at least ten minutes to find a place. Of course, you can skip that by watching a small ad.
6. Stick Fight: Shadow Warrior
Stick Fight is my personal favorite. If you are looking for a real challenge, Stick Fight Shadow Warrior fights will really give you chills. This action game for Android looks pretty simple.
You just have to tap the screen to get the flying kicks and punches out of your stickman. However, the real challenge comes when you encounter stickmen with weapons. Tapping the screen at the right moment gets ridiculously difficult and your opponent, in that small window, brutally kills you.
The game has various belts similar to Kung Fu belts. Upon completing specific tasks like “Die 3 Times,” you are rewarded with a belt. Coins help you get new armor and weapons. I liked the minimalistic approach over stunning graphics. The free-to-play business model might get on your nerves, but I believe Stick Fight Shadow Warrior is pretty amazing.
7. Injustice 2
Injustice 2 is a Warner Bros. game that packs superheroes from the DC universe as well as a few from here and there. The Android action is bundled with breath-taking console-like graphics and actually comes close to its PC and XBOX versions. Other than intriguing cutscenes, the game also has some voice acting which make the game even more interesting.
Other than fighting, you can upgrade your heroes gear items with the help of rewards by winning fights and also from the chest that you are rewarded every few hours. Injustice 2 also allows you to make a league with your friends and participate in raids. You can also join contests and PvP battles to rule leaderboard.
Since the game arrives with heavy console-like graphics, you might need a high-end phone to work smoothly. A good thing about the game is that you unlock all the characters without using premium currency.

8. Bully Anniversary Edition
While Rockstar games like GTA and Max Payne have always been in the limelight, there is another action-adventure game for Android which deserves an equal amount of attention. Bully: Aniversary Edition is an updated version of the much-popular Bully franchise, which is available on PC.
Similar to its PC brother, the game involves the main-character Hopkins, who is currently enrolled at Bullworth Academy, a private boarding school in New England. You, being Hopkins, go through different school activities, and fight bullies in order to rank at the top of school groups.
The game also includes some mini-games which will make the game even more interesting. Simiar to other Rockstar games, the fighting is mostly based on hand-combat. Bully Aniversary Edition costs $6.99 on the Google Play Store.
9. Battlelands Royale
The Battlelands Royals is like a stripped-down version of Fortnite. The game is significantly smaller in size; as for the criteria of battle-royale, it only takes 32 players at one point in time.
However, the game’s retro-style 2D graphics and bird-eye camera angle are what set it apart from games like Fortnite and PUBG. The action game for Android has barely 6-7 guns and few other things to loot. The ammo scattered on the map can be used with any gun.
The game is very simple to play, however, much more enjoyable with friends. If you don’t like PUBG’s bloodshed or Fortnite’s restricted access, then you might want to consider this beauty. Lastly, Battlelands for Android allows you to choose your location beforehand.
10. Stranger Things: The Game
Stranger Things is topping the list of best Netflix shows, no wonder it has managed to be on our list of best Android action games. The retro-styled game starts with you playing as Chief Hopper on a search for a missing kid, where other kids join you in your journey.
The action game doesn’t stick to a single style and includes a mix of puzzles and action sections. Since Stranger Things 2 is already out, the collection tapes won’t help you much. But there are other goodies along the way.
Overall, the game is pretty simple to play. It encompasses easy controls and mild challenges. The best part of the game is that the game is nearly advertisement free. This might be because of the fact that the game was released as a promotional activity from Netflix.
11. Ninja Arashi
Ninja Arahsi is the story of a father whose son is being held by the devil Orochi. You are Arashi, a former legendary ninja who has to fight enemies in order to save your son. This action-adventure game for Android features the beautiful graphics which will make you follow the journey of Arahsi.
Regarding the gameplay, Ninja Arahsi has a simple gameplay that includes long jumps, attacking controls etc. Being a Ninja, Arahsi has some skills like hiding in plain sight; he can fire a shuriken, kill enemies with his sword and much more.
Defeating enemies will get you gold and diamonds that can help in upgrading your abilities. This action game for Android has three different maps with over 45 levels to play. Hurdles range from spears, moving wheels to acid fountains and hidden soldiers.
Overall, this game is a gem. With stunning graphics and responsive controls, Ninja Arahsi is one of the best action games for Android.
