Microsoft HoloLens 2 Teaser Dropped Ahead Of Its Launch At MWC 2019
Microsoft has been rumored to launch a successor to the HoloLens, allegedly called the HoloLens 2. Now, a new teaser by the company hints at its entry at the upcoming Mobile World Congress 2019 in Barcelona.
Alex Kipman, Technical Fellow, Mixed Reality and AI at Microsoft, recently posted a 42-second long video, tipping at the new launch at its MWC 2019 event scheduled for February 24.
While the video doesn’t clearly show the next-gen holographic headset, it does feature a processor (could be an AI chip) likely to be that of the HoloLens 2.

Despite the lack of details regarding the new Microsoft headset, it is suggested that HoloLens 2 is likely to be more comfortable and support a wider field of view.
Microsoft could incorporate its latest Kinect processor into the HoloLens 2 and is expected to launch two variants: one with a Qualcomm processor and another with custom Windows.
However, as concrete details are unavailable, we’d like you to take the aforementioned information with a grain of salt.
