Google Reveals 2017’s Best Android Apps, Games, Movies, TV Shows, Songs

Continuing their annual routine, Google has released their ‘Best of’ lists for the year 2017 (Check out best of 2016 here). These lists are made for different categories including apps, games, movies, tv shows, and more.

The most downloaded Android game of the year is Super Mario Run which helped Nintendo repeat the success of Pokemon GO. Right behind Mario is Bubble Witch 3 Saga. However, the best Android game in 2017 is CATS: Crash Arena Turbo.

Talking about apps, Google calls Socratic: Math Answers & Homework Help as the best Android app in 2017. The list of top movies is topped by Moana, followed by Rogue One: A Star Wars Story, Wonder Woman, Guardian of the Galaxy Vol. 2, and Doctor Strange.

Game of Thrones leads the TV shows category after defeating Rick and Morty, The Walking Dead, The Big Bang Theory, and Doctor Who.

Mark Manson’s The Subtle Art of Not Giving a F*ck is the book liked the most on Google Play in 2017. While Kendrick Lamar’s HUMBLE. defeats Ed Sheeran’s Shape of You in the race of the most streaming songs which also include DNA. by Kendrick Lamar, Mask Off by Future, and Body Like A Back Road by Sam Hunt.
