Call Of Duty: Warzone Is Getting A New Mode – Payload
As a part of Call of Duty: Warzone’s Season 4 Reloaded update, the game is getting a new multiplayer mode. With the start of Season 4 Reloaded on July 15th at 12 AM ET, COD: Warzone players will be able to get their hands on Payload – a new multiplayer mode.
The upcoming multiplayer mode in COD:Warzone will be an objective-based game mode. Furthermore, Payload will feature two 20-player teams competing for a convoy. The team will either have to protect the convoy or destroy it, based on the task at hand.
In addition, Season 4 Reloaded is also bringing a Zombies map – Mauer Der Toten for COD: Black Ops Cold War. The Mauer Der Toten Zombies map will be apart in the Dark Aether storyline.
COD: Warzone Payload
As discussed earlier, the upcoming Payload mode will put 2 teams of 20 players each against each other in a race to either protect or destroy the convoy. What will be the convoy you might ask? Well, the covoy will carry top secret military satellite components. Moreover, the convoy will go through a series of check points where the opposite team will try and stop it.
The newest COD: Warzone Payload match rules are simple. The team escorting the convoy wins if all the vehicles make it through all the checkpoints in the time frame. However, the other team wins if the operation fails. Clearly, all this sounds rather bland. So, to make it a bit more spicy, players will be dropping in when they respawn while the convoy is still moving. Furthermore, the players will be able to loot cash, weapons, and other upgrades.
If this doesn’t make things interesting for you, wait till you hear this. The defending team will be able to buy and build obstacles in a way to intercept the moving convoy.
Apart from Payload mode, COD: Warzone Season 4 update will also add some interesting weapons to the game. The weapons include, LT53 Kazimir – a portal gun, CRBR-S – a highly customizable weapon, alongside other perks.
