Blind Man Uses a ‘Bionic Eye,’ Sees Wife for First Time in 10 Years
Technology can do some serious wonders. We can talk about it’s addictive ill effects all day, but then something miraculous happens which reminds us of the true importance of technology. One such incident happened in Minnesota. Take a look at the video below:
A blind man from Minnesota is now able to see the world around him and most importantly his loving wife in 10 years. This is possible after he received a bionic eye. Allen Zderad, aged 68, was diagnosed with some kind of eye disease of degenerative eye disease around 20 years ago. Due to the eye disease, he eventually lost his eyesight.
Mayo Clinic of Minnesota gave Allen Zderad a prototype eye device called Second Light. This bionic eye now allows him to see shapes and human forms. This touching video shows how he is now able to see his wife after 20 years.
