Apple Kills iPhone X, iPhone 6s, And iPhone SE After Launching New iPhones

iPhone X discontinued

Apple launched iPhone Xs, iPhone Xs Max, and iPhone Xr during an event held at the Steve Jobs Theater today. In a rather lackluster event, three iPhone models were presented before the public along with the newly designed Apple Watch Series 4.

As per the trend, Apple has discontinued its older devices, including iPhone 6s and iPhone SE but what came as a shocking news is the axing of iPhone X which was launched last year with the ludicrous price tag of $999.

Despite the speculations of low sales, Apple’s report showed that iPhone X’s sale was not as bad as considered by some. Tim Cook said in February, “iPhone X surpassed our expectations and has been our top-selling iPhone every week since it shipped in November.”

One of the reasons why Apple decided to discontinue iPhone is the new iPhone Xr, which is basically an upgraded iPhone X with bigger, although LCD, screen and latest Apple A12 chip.

iPhone X has been removed from the US market, but the users in countries like India can still purchase it.

It is safe to say that for those who were thinking that Apple will slash the prices and then they can buy the iPhone X, it is a disappointing news.
