Nissan Magnite Maruti Brezza Rival (1)

The upcoming Maruti Brezza rival from Nissan has finally been unveiled in the form of sub-compact SUV Magnite. The Nissan Magnite production model will be very close to the concept premiered yesterday. This Maruti Brezza Rival is going to enter into a highly competitive segment populated by the likes of Honda WRV, Hyundai Venue, and Tata Nexon.

Specs of the Nissan Magnite compact SUV are not yet available, but here’s what you can expect.

Aggressive Exterior Design

The company has provided a good amount of chrome in the overall makeover of the compact SUV. The front profile of the SUV sports broad hexagonal-shaped grilles guarded by chrome stripes on both sides. In addition, the L-shaped LED DRL’s on both the edges lends the SUV a sharp look.

On the sides, you can see the chrome work on handles and the lower border of windows. In contrast, the automaker provided glossy black-colored plastic on the A and C-pillars with matt-finish covers on the wheel-arches.

Moreover, the rugged black-colored bumper on both the front and rear enhances the sporty look of Nissan Magnite. Other than this, you can expect dual-tone alloy wheels, LED tail-lights that resemble old Creta and floating back bars on the roof. In short, the designers have spent a good amount of time on small details. Interior details of the Nissan Magnite remain unknown, but official sources claim that it’ll be spacious.

Expected Engines

As per the sources, the all-new Nissan Magnite will be available in different engine options. Most likely, there will be a naturally aspirated motor and a turbocharged 1.0-liter three-cylinder engine, both available in petrol. The naturally aspirated 1.0-liter engine will produce around 74 BHP, whereas the turbocharged variant will churn out 98 BHP. Nissan Magnite compact SUV will be available with a manual and an automatic gearbox.
