2020 Honda WRV Launched: Here Are Its Specs, Price, And Mileage
Honda WRV is finally here with its 2020 edition. The facelift WRV gets a BS6 compliant engine and few design improvements. The 2020 WRV is available in both petrol and diesel options, with prices starting at Rs 8.49 lakh (ex-showroom).
The Honda WRV was first launched in 2017 and was due for a refreshed look. Nevertheless, midway through 2020, the new facelift Honda WRV is finally here. Let’s have a look at the specifications of the new Honda WRV in detail.

2020 Honda WRV Specifications
Engine
The Honda WRV is available in both petrol and diesel variants. If we talk about the petrol engine, it’s a 1.2-liter i-VTEC BS6 complaint with an output of 88 BHP and 110 Nm of torque. Meanwhile, a 1.5-liter i-DTEC BS6 compliant engine powers the diesel variant. The diesel engine churns out 98 BHP and an impressive 200 Nm of torque. Moreover, both engines are mated to a manual transmission system.
Mileage
As per the automaker, the 1.2-liter petrol engine delivers a fuel-efficiency of 16.5 km/l. However, with a claimed mileage of 23.7 km/l, the 1.5-liter diesel engine is far more efficient.
Design Improvements
Major design improvements start at the front of the car. The new WRV gets a facelift with bolder front grills giving it an aggressive look. Also, the new WRV sports LED headlamps with integrated DRL and fog lamps. Apart from this, the crossover wears the iconic chrome Honda badge with the chrome extending till the headlights.
Furthermore, Honda has provided a shark tail antenna and two sporty bars on the roof. On the rear side, there are C-shaped taillights and as you look at the lower profile, it features a dual-tone bumper that further enhances the overall look. Apart from this, if we talk about the interior it’s pretty much the same. The infotainment system is available with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto.
Highlighting Features
This subcompact crossover might not be as popular as its rivals like Tata Nexon and Maruti Vitara Brezza, but it’s quite impressive with new improvements. The new Honda WRV gets a host of features like cruise control, electric sunroof, projector headlamps, and keyless entry.
If we talk about safety features, the 2020 WRV comes with dual airbags, ABS with EBD as standard across all variants. Furthermore, Honda also provides Impact Mitigation Headrests (IMH) and Intelligent Brake Pedals to reinforce its safety.
