iPhone XS Will Get Depth Control Feature While Clicking A Picture
We have seen considerable improvements on the camera front in the newly announced iPhone Xs and iPhone Xs Max. Highlights of the camera are the smart HDR mode and depth adjustment mode in Bokeh effect.
Apple’s depth of field control feature is only available after a picture has been clicked. However, a report by Macerkopf has indicated that Apple is planning to introduce the feature while clicking a photograph.
Currently, users have to click on the ‘Edit’ option to adjust the depth of field in the clicked photographs. In iOS 12.1 Beta 1, Apple has added support for adjusting the depth in real time with the help of a slider button at the bottom of the screen.
According to Macerkopf, “A future iOS update brings the slider directly into the camera app, so you can regulate the depth of field directly when shooting the portrait.”
If the feature is introduced in a stable iOS 12 update in future, it will provide more control to iPhone users for adjusting the intensity of bokeh effect while clicking a picture.
Apple has already started the shipping of new iPhones, and the latest models are receiving impressive feedback despite the ludicrous pricing. As far as the overall camera performance is considered, Apple is yet to reach the level of Google Pixel 2.
