Xiaomi

Amongst the smartphone launches Xiaomi has been planning for 2019, we might get to see the successor to the Mi Max 3 as well. The leaks have started pouring in, and the latest one tips at the possible specs for the device.

According to a new report by a reliable smartphone industry expert, Xiaomi is expected to launch two variants of the new Mi Max smartphone – the Mi Max 4 and the Mi Max 4 Pro.

The Mi Max 4 could come with a huge 7.2-inch display, featuring a water drop notch and thin bezels. It is likely to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and would be available in three RAM/ROM variants: 4GB/64GB (CNY 1,599), 6GB/64GB (CNY 1,799), and 8GB/128GB (CNY 1,999).

On the camera front, there might be a 48-megapixel camera sensor, much like the latest Redmi Note 7. However, there is no word on the front camera configuration and the number of rear snappers the device could have.

The Mi Max 4 is speculated to get its fuel from a massive 5,800mAh battery and run MIUI 11 based on Android 9.0 Pie.

The Mi Max 4 Pro, on the other hand, is expected to be powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 chipset and have three RAM/ROM versions: 6GB/64GB, 6GB/128GB, and 8GB/128GB.

The device is rumored to share the same display size and rear camera configuration as its younger sibling, with a possible 20-megapixel front camera.

Additionally, the Mi Max 4 Pro is likely to sport an in-display fingerprint scanner.

However, as the above-mentioned details are still rumors, we’d like you to take them with a pinch of salt.
