It’s available in both petrol and diesel variants, as well as with MT and AT gearbox.

Tata Nexon: A Value For Money Compact SUV
Vivek Srivatsa, Head of Marketing, Passenger Vehicle Business Unit (PVBU), Tata Motors said in a press release, “The Nexon has always been a product of pride for Tata Motors. A product that will now allow our customers to enjoy superior features such as the electric sunroof at a compelling price.”
He said that with the addition of Sunroof, the automaker aims to make premium features accessible to the widest range of customers.
In addition to the electric sunroof, the XM (S) variant offers features like Rain-Sensing Wipers, Auto Headlamps, and steering mounted controls. Furthermore, the compact SUV retains all the existing features of the Nexon XM including the ConnectNext Infotainment System by Harman and Multi-Drive Modes (Eco, City, and Sport), and LED DRLs with projector headlamps.
Earlier, the sunroof was available only in its top-spec trim (XZ). However, there was a considerable difference of Rs 100,000 between the XM and XZ variants.
Similarly, other compact SUVs on the market with a sunroof like Hyundai Creta, Venue, and Honda WRV are also quite expensive. Furthermore, there’s no need to mention that Tata Motors offers all the necessary safety features as standard across all its variants.
Tata Nexon was already one of the most compelling SUVs in terms of value for money and now with this new variant, it seems to be more affordable now. Anyway, do tell us which compact SUV you think provides the best value for money?
