Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) Launched In India: 4 Rear Cameras & Infinity Display
After various rumors, Samsung has finally unveiled the new Galaxy A9 (2018) in its Galaxy A series at an event in India.
The main USP of the Galaxy A9 (2018) is the camera department, which houses four cameras at the back, rated at 24-megapixel primary shooter, a 10-megapixel telephoto lens with 2x optical zoom, an 8-megapixel wide-angle lens one, and a 5-megapixel lens for portrait images.
Additionally, the single selfie camera has a 24-megapixel lens. It comes with a bunch of beauty features and software-backed Face Unlock functionality.
The Galaxy A9 (2018) comes with a 6.3-inch Full HD+ Super AMOLED Infinity display with an aspect ratio rated at 18:9. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor.
It comes in two RAM/ROM options: 6GB RAM/128GB ROM and 8GB RAM/128GB ROM, both the options being expandable up to 512GB via a memory card. The smartphone gets its fuel from a 3,800mAh battery with adaptive fast charging and runs Android 8.0 Oreo.
The dual-SIM smartphone comes with several connectivity options such as 4G VoLTE, Wi-Fi 802.11ac, Bluetooth v5.0, GPS, GLONASS, and NFC. Furthermore, the Galaxy A9 (2018) is accompanied by a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner and comes in Caviar Black, Lemonade Blue, and Bubblegum Pink color options.
The Samsung Galaxy A9 (2018) is priced at Rs 36,990 (6GB RAM/128GB ROM) and Rs 39,990 (8GB RAM/128GB ROM). It will be available to buy via Amazon India, Samsung Online Shop, Flipkart and Airtel Store, starting from November 28.
