PUBG Mobile Might Introduce Karakin Map In The Next Update
We already know the next PUBG Mobile update 0.18.0 isn’t that far away and it is working on Miramar 2.0, which is already available on beta.
Now, a new PUBG leak suggests that there’s a huge possibility PUBG Mobile will introduce the Karakin map in the next update.
Rolex, a well known PUBG Mobile streamer, has tweeted a hint that he received from PUBG Mobile in the form of morse code. His chat was able to crack the code and found out that it means “New Maps.”
What’s interesting is that along with Miramar 2.0, Rolex mentions the ‘Karakin’ map, which is currently available on PUBG PC. PUBG Mobile also retweeted Rolex’s tweet, giving us reason to believe that a new map might be coming in the next update.

Karakin Map In PUBG Mobile Is A Possibility
In the past, there have been speculations that PUBG might replace the Vikendi map with Karakin. But that is hard to believe because PUBG Mobile recently added Arctic mode, which is only accessible on the Vikendi map. So, it’s highly unlikely that PUBG Mobile will get rid of Vikendi days after releasing an exclusive mode for the map.
If PUBG Mobile is thinking of replacing an existing map with Karakin, then it could very well be Miramar. That is because PUBG beta already holds a revamped version of the Miramar map. Hence, there’s a possibility that the map in the beta version is Karakin, instead of Miramar 2.0.
Based on that, either Karakin will take Miramar’s place, or it will launch as an additional fifth map in PUBG mobile.
Also, take a look at PUBG PC’s Karakin map and the leaked “Miramar 2.0” on PUBG Mobile beta side by side. You would find that both the maps follow a desert theme with oak trees and rivers. So Miramar 2.0 might just be Karakin, given the similarities in the two maps.
Just so you know, all of these are speculations based on available information, so take this with a pinch of salt. We’ll only know anything for sure when there’s an official statement on the next update from PUBG Mobile.
