Huawei is all hyped up to deliver its next flagship device, Huawei P40, despite setbacks due to the Coronavirus epidemic. While the launch will take place as scheduled on March 26, the event will happen online instead of an event in Paris.
A leaked teaser has surfaced online which shows Huawei’s P40 bundling a triple camera setup on the front. There is no official confirmation, but, if true, Huawei P40 will be the world’s first smartphone to house a triple-lens on the front.
Most smartphones have a hole-punch cutout either at the top or at the top right corner. The Huawei P40’s latest teaser shows a triple-lens cutout at the top left corner of the screen. The image also shows the bezel-less display that will accompany the P40 series.
It is difficult to tell if the triple camera setup will be featured in the entire Huawei P40 series. Reportedly, the lineup will include three smartphones: Huawei P40, Huawei P40 Pro, and Huawei P40 premium edition.
Huawei P40 Rumors and Leaks
Previously, Huawei CEO Richard Yu said that the P40 series would offer a new design, upgraded camera, processor, and battery life. All the leaks up till now, seemingly, back his claim.
The entire Huawei P40 series is coming with Kirin 990 chipset; some models will feature 5G capability — depending upon the market. The smartphone will offer RAM up to 12GB and 512GB storage.
Coming to the rear camera, there are rumors that the standard variant will offer a triple camera on the back; however, the premium edition will boast a five lens camera setup.
