Harry Potter: Wizards Unite Released In The US For Android & iOS
After launching in New Zealand and Australia as Beta, Harry Potter: Wizards Unite has now officially entered the US for all the Potterheads out there, that too a day earlier than expected.
The new Augmented Reality game, developed by Niantic and Portkey Games (Warner Bros. sub-brand for the Harry Potter series), is available for both Android and iOS users to download.
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite is an AR game, pretty much like the then-popular Pokemon Go, asking users to collect stuff on a virtual map in a real-world setting.
With the Harry Potter theme and characters around, the game requires users to collect various objects and sometimes even save some characters, earn points, learn spells, and head onto different levels by completing the tasks.
Harry Potter: Wizards Unite was supposed to launch globally today. However, it is currently available in the US.
The worldwide launch of Harry Potter: Wizards Unite begins this Friday, June 21! Keep your eyes peeled and wand ready for more information as the game goes live in your region soon. #WizardsUnite pic.twitter.com/ckk4s4mi8a

While there is no word as to when the game will be available in other countries, we expect it to arrive soon in other markets as the games tend to roll out at a different time in different places.
If you are in the US, you can download the game from the Google Play Store and the App Store.
