Has Game Of Thrones Season 8 Script Leaked Online? Here’s What We Know So Far
The GOT Season 7 finale will air on August 27, 2017, with a runtime of 79 minutes. This brings us to the next season, i.e., the final Season 8. Talking to Collider, Nikolaj Coster-Waldau, who plays the role of Jaime Lannister, confirmed that the filming for the last season will likely begin in October. It’s also worth noting that Game of Thrones Season 8 will be the shortest season with just 6 episodes. However, the episodes are expected to be longer, probably of feature length.
What about Game of Thrones Season 8 script leak rumors?
While HBO and fans are fearing any Game of Thrones Season 7 Finale leaks, there are numerous websites sharing the scripts of GOT Season 8 scripts. These Season 8 leaks first originated on 4chan and they are widely circulated on other forums like Reddit.
People have also been sharing alleged season material on Facebook and Tumblr too. The script has too many unsettling details for Thrones fans and I’ll be refraining myself from sharing the same.
However, there are good chances that the leaked scripts are fake. This could be possible because the Season 8 scripts have just been completed and even the stars don’t have them. They are supposed to get their hands on the script a month before the shooting begins, i.e., in September.
Also, lots of things in the leaked script don’t make sense. The tone and style of Season 8 scripts don’t match with the authentic Season 7 leaks. There are many continuity and authenticity errors too. So, if you come across the leaked material, take them with a pinch of salt.
