The newest player in the battle royale gaming genre, Call of Duty: Warzone, crossed 6 million players in just 24 hours. Maintaining the same trend, COD: Warzone grabbed over 15 million players worldwide in 4 days.

These insane numbers clearly predict how insanely popular this video game is going to get in the coming days.

Call of Duty: Warzone was released on 10th March 2020. Players instantly tried out the video game because of the fact that this 150-player battle royale game is entirely free to play.

The battle royale video games are adored by not just casual, but also by professional gamers.

For instance, Epic Games’ Fortnite and EA’s Apex Legends have over 250 million and 80 million players globally. Both of these titles are free-to-play, and it look likes Activision Blizzard is following in its competitors’ footsteps to step over them.

Apex Legends is no doubt considered one of the best battle royale games. Some even argue that it is even better than PUBG because of its action-packed futuristic theme. The video game had 2.5 million players in its first 24 hours and almost 25 million players in just one week.
