Call Of Duty Mobile Update: New ‘Rust’ Map, ‘Kill Confirmed’ Mode & More
The long-awaited Call of Duty: Mobile Season 6 update is finally on its way. According to a community post by Call of Duty: Mobile, the update will introduce a brand new map along with some new modes.
The Season 6 update for COD: Mobile will start rolling out this week as the new season goes live on May 1.
The first major update will be the introduction of the new “Rust” map, which was already tested in COD: Mobile test server. Rust is already a fan-favorite Call of Duty: Modern Warfare map that will now make its debut in the mobile version of the game.

Besides Rust, the update will also introduce a brand new “Saloon” map with the update. There will be a “one versus one” game mode exclusive to the Saloon map. In this game mode, you’ll compete with only a single player over and over again until the time runs out. The one to get maximum kills will be the winner.
New Call of Duty: Mobile Modes: ‘Kill Confirmed’ And ‘Capture The Flag’
In addition to all that, the COD Mobile update will also surprise us with some game modes that already exist in the PC versions.
Kill Confirmed Mode
First, there is the Kill Confirmed mode, which comes directly from Call of Duty: Black Ops III’s Multiplayer. It is a Death Match game mode in which two teams of four to six players go against each other. The objective is to kill as many opponents as you can and collect their dog tags to score points for your team. You have to collect the dog tags before they disappear. Also, your enemies will stop you from scoring the points by grabbing the dog tags themselves.
Capture The Flag
Secondly, there is Capture the Flag mode, which was first featured in Call of Duty: United Offensive. In this COD game mode, the objective is to capture the enemy’s flag and bring it back to your own team’s flag.
Moreover, starting from May, bundles, crates, and lucky draws will be available together in Call of Duty: Mobile. However, they’ll offer different content from what they used to provide before.
Fortunately, the update will also focus on some serious issues in the game. According to the community post, developers are working on removing these bugs:
- Hardpoint contested even with no enemies being present
- Black screen crashes
- Latency issues
- Ak-47 Jade reward missing in the Tenacity Rewarded Event
So, we can say that the next Call of Duty Mobile update is going to be massive. Stay connected to Fossbytes for any latest information on Call of Duty: Mobile.
