Samsung Galaxy M40 Is The Most Promising Member Of M-Series
Samsung seems to be pretty focused on producing budget smartphones, specifically in India, and that’s when it launched its Galaxy M series. In addition to the existing Galaxy M10, M20, and M30, Samsung has now officially unveiled the Galaxy M40, which appears to be a better and more promising member of the Galaxy M family.
Why it could be a promising smartphone, you ask, there are a number of features that make it one.
Galaxy M40 Highlights
To start with the first one, the Galaxy M40 comes with Samsung’s Screen SoundCasting technology, which converts the display of the device into speakers. As a reminder, this is the first Samsung device to come with one.
Another attraction of the device is the Infinity-O display which spans 6.3-inch and is Full HD+ in nature.
Coming to the cameras, the Galaxy M40 has three rear cameras to offer us; 32MP primary snapper, 5MP shooter for bokeh effect (Live Focus), and 8MP ultra-wide lens. The one at the front stands at 16MP.
Another highlight of the device is the absence of a 3.5mm audio jack, which may or may not be liked by people.
M40 Tech Specs
In terms of tech specifics, the Galaxy M40 has a Qualcomm Snapdragon 675 processor, coupled with 6GB of RAM. It comes equipped with 128GB of internal storage, which can be further expanded up to 512GB with the use of a microSD card.
There is a 3,500mAh battery which provides fuel to the smartphone and supports fast charging. The device runs Android 9.0 Pie with Samsung’s OneUI on top.
Additionally, the smartphone sports a rear-placed fingerprint sensor, Type-C port with Type-C earphones, and has Widevine L1 certification. It comes in Midnight Blue and Seawater Blue color variants.
The Samsung Galaxy M40 comes with a price tag of Rs 19,990, which makes it a device worth considering for all the features it offers. It will be available to buy, starting June 18.
In my opinion, the Galaxy M40 has better traits than its siblings and for its price, it could be a game-changer for Samsung in the affordable game.
We will soon update you on this. So, stay tuned for this space.
