Nokia 8.1 Now Official With PureDisplay And ZEISS Optics
HMD Global-owned Nokia added another member to its mid-segment, dubbed the Nokia 8.1, at an event in Dubai.
The Nokia 8.1 has its highlights in the form of the 6.18-inch Full HD+ edge-to-edge PureDisplay and HDR 10. Talking about the camera department, you get dual cameras at the back (12-megapixel and 13-megapixel) and a 20-megapixel front camera.
Additionally, the cameras come with OIS, ZEISS Optics lens, AI-based features, and dual-sight live streaming.
The Nokia 8.1 sports a dual-tone design built out of a metal frame and comes in Blue/Silver, Steel/Copper, and Iron/Steel color combinations.
The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 710 processor, coupled with 4GB of RAM. It comes equipped with 64GB of inbuilt storage which comes with the option to expand up to 400GB via a memory card.
The device gets its power from a 3,500mAh Adaptive battery with fast charging, and it runs the latest Android 9.0 Pie and comes under the Android One initiative for faster updates.
Additionally, the Nokia 8.1 supports Nokia OZO surround sound capture audio system and a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner.
The Nokia 8.1 is priced at Euros 399 and will be available, starting mid-December.
