OnePlus 6T New Leak Reveals In-display Fingerprint And Waterdrop Notch
Apart from Google Pixel 3 devices, OnePlus is also all set to launch its new flagship devices, OnePlus 6T, in October. And it looks like the device will have a bunch of cool features to set it apart from its predecessor OnePlus 6.
In a recent development, a set of alleged OnePlus 6T packaging images has surfaced on the Weibo, indicating towards an in-display fingerprint sensor and a waterdrop notch.
The believed OnePlus 6T box shows off the One Plus logo and a device sketch inside. While the device is not present in the images, the drawing indicates a bezel-less screen and a tiny notch at the top.
Unlike the notch present on OnePlus 6 and other Android devices, this one appears to be a waterdrop notch — kind of a black cutout which houses the front-facing camera, similar to the Essential device.
Apart from that, the bottom of the sketch shows off fingerprint icon on the screen itself with a tagline — “Unlock the speed.” In-display fingerprint has earlier been criticized for slow unlocking speeds, so that might not be the case with OnePlus 6T.
Presently, the device specifications have not been revealed but since OnePlus has always showcased high performing devices, 6T will most likely to follow the same trend of speed over everything.
As for the price, earlier rumors indicate a tag of $550 with an optimized device for T-Mobile carrier.
