Google released Android 11 first public beta only a few hours ago and opened the Google Beta program, which allows non-pixel devices to test a new Android version.

Android 11 comes with several features such as a separate conversation section in the notification tab, device controls for smart devices, and new permissions to improve privacy.

As of now, Android 11 Beta 1 is only available for all Google Pixel devices except the Pixel 1. However, the list will extend to Android phones from other manufacturers as well, and it appears Xiaomi will be the first one to jump the bandwagon.

In an official tweet, Xiaomi has confirmed that Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro users will soon be able to install the Android 11 first beta. Poco posted a similar tweet confirming Poco F2 Pro to be part of the Google Beta Program. However, the company has refrained from announcing a date.

This means Xiaomi Mi 10/10 Pro owners as well as Poco F2 Pro owners will be the first ones to test Android 11.

The Mi 10 is Xiaomi’s high-end flagship, which was launched in India last month, starting at Rs 49,000. The 5G smartphone carries a Snapdragon 865 SoC along with a quad-camera setup featuring 108-Megapixel primary cameras.
