Ubisoft Forward: Prince Of Persia, Splinter Cell & More To Expect
The first Ubisoft Forward event went live in July where some big titles like Assassins’ Creed Valhalla and Watch Dogs Legion were discussed. Now, the French developer is all set to hold the second Ubisoft Forward event of the year.
The second Ubisoft Forward event will go live today, with a one-hour pre-show starting at 11 AM PT/ 2 PM ET. However, the main show will go live at 12 AM PT/ 3 PM ET with some unexpected announcements.
If interested, you can watch the event on Ubisoft’s Official YouTube channel. Also, if you want to win some in-game rewards, then catch the event live on Ubisoft’s official website after logging in with your Ubisoft account.
Ubisoft Forward September 2020: What To Expect?
In the main event, titles like Watch Dogs 3, Assassins’ Creed Valhalla, Brawlhalla, and Tom Clancy’s Ghost Recon® Breakpoint will surely make an appearance. Also, Ubisoft will do a full reveal of Immortals: Fenyx Rising, the title which was initially called Gods and Monsters.
However, some rumors suggest that Ubisoft might also announce the return of Prince of Persia and Splinter Cell in the event.
Last month, a reputed video game retailer listed Prince of Persia Remake on its website. The video game was listed for PS4 and Nintendo Switch; however, the retailer removed the listing later from the website.
Nevertheless, it was enough to spark a rumor that Ubisoft is working on a remake of Prince of Persia, that might get revealed in the second Ubisoft Forward event.
Jason Schreier, a very well known Bloomberg journalist, also verified the Prince of Persia Remake leak. “Video game retailers sure love leaking Ubisoft’s surprise announcements,” said Schreier in his tweet.
Other than that, there are rumors that the fan-favorite video game series, Splinter Cell, might also make a comeback.
The last Splinter Cell was released back in 2013; however, since last year, there have been rumors claiming that Ubisoft is planning a comeback for Sam Fisher. So, fans are expecting an announcement regarding the same in the upcoming Ubisoft Forward event.
Finally, Ubisoft has some other big titles in the store as well, including the pirate action game Skulls and Bones and Beyond Good & Evil 2. Ubisoft has put these titles on hold for a long time now. So, we might hear about the development of these massive video game titles in the event.
