The fight of Tesla Model X Vs Ford F250 has happened, and we have a winner. Everyone knows that a Tesla Model X can’t stand against a big pickup truck like a Ford F250, but still, the results were quite surprising.
A few days ago, a Model X pulled a Ford F150 in a tug of war competition. The competition was aimed at showcasing just how powerful Tesla Cybertruck will be when the company’s electric SUV, the Tesla Model X produces so much power. The tug of war was organized by the Youtube channel ‘The Zunigas.’ In that competition, the Model X easily pulled the Ford F-150 proving just how much torque it has.

Tesla Model X Vs Ford F250: Tug Of War Fight
Let us try and understand what happened here. During the first try, the driver of the Tesla Model X had a really great reaction time, and he started pulling the Ford F250 first. This didn’t give the Ford F250 a chance to maintain traction and therefore is lost.
For your reference, The Ford F250 produces 450 HP and 935 lb-ft of torque, while the Tesla Model X generates 777 HP and 840 ft. lb of torque.
During the second try, the driver of the Ford F250 jumped on the accelerator as soon as he could. Therefore, with a massive 935 lb-ft of torque, the Ford F250 easily pulled the Tesla Model X towards itself.
The same thing happened during the third try because the Ford F250 won again. Another factor that helped the Ford F250 in achieving victory here is its weight. The weight of the Ford truck starts at 5,600 pounds and goes all the way up to 7,526 pounds. The Tesla Model X, on the other hand, weighs about 5,185-5,531 pounds.
We have seen that the weight of a vehicle is one of the most important determining factors during a tug-of-war competition.
The reaction of the audience in the comment section of the video was mixed. Some were happy with the performance of the Tesla Model X, saying: “it’s better than the f-150. that’s all that matters”
While other members were pointing out that “If the ford driver braked then the Tesla driver should have braked as well.”
Needless to say, Tesla Cybertruck is already more popular even before its launch. It will be a revolutionary vehicle by every measure, and I, for one, can’t wait to test it.
