Samsung To Showcase New Sound-On-Display At CES 2019
Back in November, South Korean tech company Samsung introduced a couple of display types during SDC 2018. Now, the company is expected to showcase yet another display, preferably during CES 2019.
According to a new report, Samsung is speculated to unveil the new Sound-On-Display during the Consumer Electronics Show (CES) 2019 in Las Vegas.
The new display will produce sounds which will be based on OLED display panels. The new technology will work based on vibration and bone conduction for the transfer of sound via the display of the devices.
Furthermore, the new display will call for a full bezel-less display experience without a notch, thus, making way for another new display type to bid goodbye to the notch trend.
To recall, Samsung, back at its Samsung OLED Forum conference in China talked about the Sound-On-Display tech.
Additionally, it is expected that Samsung could use the new Sound-On-Display for both its upcoming smartphones as well as TVs.
Just to clear the mist, going by the recent rumors and leaks, the upcoming Galaxy S10 is expected to come with the Infinity-O display with a hole in the display.
Therefore, the new display type could arrive with other future Samsung smartphones.
