PUBG Mobile Erangel 2.0: Everything You Need To Know
Its’ been a while since Erangel 2.0 for PUBG Mobile has been announced. And finally, a recent video by the YouTube channel, The Ghost Gaming, gives us a brief idea of how the map is going to look.
The only sad part about this is that the Erangel 2.0 map will first release in Game of Peace, the Chinese version of PUBG Mobile. If beta testing is successful in the Chinese version, the developers will then move globally with the updated map.
A Secret Base In PUBG Mobile Erangel 2.0?
In the video, you can see that in PUBG Mobile Erangel 2.0, there’s a secret base that’s much similar to the secret base we see in PUBG PC.
In the base, there are multiple photographs pinned on a board showing different locations across the map. The circles drawn on specific photographs might represent the locations where the people in the base were planning to attack. Additionally, the cross mark might represent the locations where they’ve already attacked.
Interestingly, you can also see the new Erangel Map pinned right in the middle of the board with a few marked locations. Now, the sites marked red on the map are the locations that are new or have been modified in Erangel 2.0.
Moreover, there will be a new river flowing through the center of Erangel 2.0. So, there will be more bridges in the map.
What Will Be Some Major Gameplay Changes In Erangel 2.0 Map Update?
All thanks to PUBG Mobile gamer Wynnsanity, we were introduced with the latest leaked teaser for the Erangel 2.0, showcasing some incredible new game dynamics.
After the update, all players will be able to choose a special class or ability. Moreover, there will be a badge in each player’s outfit representing the class they’ve chosen.
In the teaser, we can see that a player belongs to the Ninja class, which lets him quickly travel short distances with the help of a grappling hook. Then another player starts running incredibly fast after injecting himself with some chemical. The third player uses a shield to protect himself from an opponent but is knocked out because of a grenade. And at last, the player belonging to the medic class throws a healing dart to revive the knocked out teammate.
If you play Call of Duty Mobile, these abilities might look familiar to you with some minor changes. And it’s not surprising to see identical game dynamics in COD Mobile and PUBG Mobile, as both titles come under Tencent Games.
What’s even more interesting is that the Erangel 2.0 update will also bring melee throw feature. This feature will let you throw things like pan and helmet at your enemies to injure them.
