Short Bytes: The results of Stack Overflow Developer Survey 2016 indicate that more and more programmers are switching to OS X. While Linux-based operating systems are witnessing a decline, Windows 10 has shown great performance at the expense of Windows 7.
If we take a look at the numbers, Apple’s OS X and Linux stand nowhere when compared to Windows PCs. However, these operating systems are favorite among developers who spend their day and night in front of computer screens to make and break new things.
The results of Stack Overflow Developer Survey 2016 are out and they indicate a steady shift towards Apple’s Mac OS X. According to the latest data obtained from 56,033 developers spread across the world, 26.2 percent developers use Apple’s Mac operating system.
Putting it in another way, the usage of GNU/Linux is declining among the programmers.
Well, if we combine Windows 7, Windows 10, Windows 8, Windows XP and Windows Vista, Windows is still the most popular development environment. If we break this down, 22.5 percent coders use Windows 7, 20.8 percent use Windows 10, and 8.4 percent use Windows 8.
Two years ago, Linux distributions were the second most popular choice among the programmers. According to this year’s trends, Ubuntu is far ahead of other open source distros with a market share of 12.3 percent. Canonical’s OS is followed by Fedora, Mint, and Debian that accounted for 1.4%, 1.7%, and 1.9% of all responses, respectively.

GET THE BLANK ATM CARD AND BECOME RICH
Hackers with the above email: [email protected] is at it again!! Cool way to have financial freedom!!! Are you tired of living a poor life; here is the opportunity you have been waiting for. This is a testimony that I myself have experience and I can tell us it is 100% real. Get the new ATM BLANK CARD that can hack any ATM MACHINE and withdraw money from any account. You do not require anybody’s account number before you can use it. Although you and I knows that it’s illegal but the government cannot put money in our pocket, there is no risk using it. It has SPECIAL FEATURES, that makes the machine unable to detect this very card and its transaction can’t be traced. You can use it anywhere in the world. With this card, you can withdraw nothing less than $2500 a day. So far I have been able to withdraw $65,000. I don’t know why am posting this but I believe it can help someone else in need of money. To get the card, reach the hackers via email address: [email protected]
To be honest, it realy depends on the OS you are developing for. Try and code an OS X application on a Windows machine.
I switched to Mac from Ubuntu because i want to develop Iphone apps. Nothing else. Still love linux over OsX
Well that just means either the programmers are coding for Apple products or they are just getting richer!! #linux
