OnePlus Nord excels in almost all departments except display and camera. The Chinese manufacturer’s budget smartphone started exhibiting green tint and camera stability issues not long after its launch.
The company has released a couple of updates, but camera issues are still persistent. Therefore, OnePlus has outed another OnePlus Nord update today in the form of OxygenOS 10.5.7 that brings camera improvement, display calibration improvement, and a couple of other improvements.
OnePlus has released OxygenOS 10.5.7 just a week after pushing OxygenOS 10.5.6 update. Interestingly, the previous update is yet to arrive on a number of devices.
OxygenOS 10.5.7 also brings improvements in power consumption and fixes other issues like Bluetooth connectivity, display, and other issues. The update has a bigger changelog than the 10.5.6 update and is intended to improve the user experience.
Several users have complained on the official OnePlus forum and Reddit that the native camera app crashes when they switch to 4K 60fps video recording mode on the front camera mode.
Here is the changelog for the update:
OxygenOS 10.5.7 Update Changelog
- Improved general power consumption
- Improved 4K 60 FPS video stabilization of the front camera
- Improved image clarity of Macro camera
- Improved general display calibration
- Improved Bluetooth connection stability
- Improved voice call stability
OnePlus has started rolling out OxygenOS 10.5.7 in India as an incremental update. If you haven’t received the update yet, you can wait for it to arrive for your handset or you can download the OxygenOS Updater app from Google Play Store and get the update instantly.
