iPhone 12 Pro To Launch With 120Hz Display, 3X Zoom: Rumors
As per the latest iPhone 12 rumors shared by Max Weinbach, the iPhone 12 Pro will be launched with features like 120Hz ProMotion Display, 3x telephoto zoom, and the iPhone will have the largest 6.7-inch display.
According to Weinbach, the iPhone 12 series will be rolled out in the second half of 2020. The iPhone 12 series will consist of 4 variants and three different screen sizes. The variants include a 5.4-inch iPhone, two 6.1-inch iPhones, and a 6.7-inch iPhone.
Refresh Rate Adjustment
The iPhone 12 Pro Max is going to be the biggest iPhone till now with a 6.7-inch display. The phone will switch its refresh rate from 60Hz to 120Hz situationally and according to the remaining battery life.
Previously, the adaptive refresh rate feature, or the ProMotion display, has been spotted in the iPad Pro. iPhone 12 Pro models are also expected to have a bigger 4,400 mAh battery to compensate for the extra power required to run the 120Hz display.
Other iPhone 12 Rumors
As mentioned in the video covering what Weinbach said, the Face ID feature will also undergo some modification as now it will identify the face of the user from a wider angle. For the rear camera, the iPhone will come equipped with upgraded Smart HDR mode that will minimize the noise in photos taken in a low light setting.
Apart from that, the camera of the iPhone 12 Pro will come with a 3x telephoto zoom and a LiDAR scanner that will boost the accuracy for portrait mode and increase the speed of autofocus.
The iPhone 12 series will also come with a small-sized notch to increase the screen space, brand new Apple A14 processor, and 5G network support.
However, it cannot be said that the information related to the launch and the features is final, as there is no official statement regarding that, and a lot of changes can be expected in the features of the upcoming iPhone 12 series.
