GTA 6 Release Date Predicted By Ex-Rockstar Employee
Over the years, there have been a lot of rumors about the release date of Grand Theft Auto 6. Even though there isn’t any official statement on GTA 6 release date, but fans are still expecting the game to arrive by the end of 2020.
Well, it would be a massive disappointment for most fans, but, according to Darion Lowenstein, an ex-Rockstar employee, GTA 6 isn’t happening “anytime soon.”
Darion Lowenstein has worked for multiple major game companies, including Rockstar. As reported by The Daily Star, Lowenstein recently sat down to have a chat with the equity research firm, Jeffries. During his talk, Lowenstein confidently said that the earliest the fans could expect the game to release is by the end of 2021.
Moreover, Lowenstein completely shut down the rumors claiming that fans will see a trailer for GTA 6 in February 2020.
“We’ve seen online rumors and have heard client speculation that a trailer could drop as early as next month, but Darion’s take is that investors/gamers will have to wait longer,” Jeffries wrote in the press release.
It is important to understand that what Dorion Lowenstein said isn’t official either. So, it’s best not to rely entirely on this information. Who knows, maybe Rockstar Games will surprise us by releasing the much-awaited sequel for GTA 5 earlier than expected.
In October 2019, Steven Ogg, the man who played Trevor in GTA 5, also said that the sequel would be released sometime around 2020/2021. So, if you combine Ogg’s statement with what Lowenstein said to Jeffries, then it’s pretty evident that 2021 is the golden year for GTA fans.
