Call Of Duty Mobile Launching On Android And iOS On October 1st
The wait is over: the free-to-play FPS Call of Duty Mobile is coming to Android and iOS on October 1st, 2019. Call of Duty is a world-famous military FPS franchise with millions of fans.
We reviewed the Call of Duty Mobile Beta that was released a few months ago and in our review, we praised its game modes and its fast-paced mechanics.
The free-to-play Call of Duty mobile is published by Tencent’s Timi Studio and developed by Activision.
Call of Duty Mobile will compete directly with another ultra-popular shooter franchise – PUBG Mobile on Android and iOS devices.
Call of Duty Mobile Launching On Android And iOS
During our review of the Call of Duty Mobile Beta, we said that “It delivers a smooth and fast FPS experience for your smartphone.” The gameplay of Call of Duty Mobile clearly takes inspiration from its PC/Console counterpart and delivers an exhilarating experience.
The gameplay of Call of Duty Mobile combines elements from both the Black Ops and the Modern Warfare series. We said the same in our interview and it was also confirmed by Chris Plummer, VP, Mobile at Activision.
The series’ staple team deathmatch was particularly fun to play. The COD mobile also had frontline and free-for-all game mode which offer action-packed gameplay as well. There is no campaign mode in the COD beta version and I doubt it will be available in the final version.
The game had loot boxes in the beta release but they were not pay-to-win as far as I have experienced. The game also has a Battle Royale mode that can accommodate up to 100 players. In order to lure millions of PUBG players to the Call of Duty Mobile, the game also has a third-person perspective mode.
According to the Play Store description, the Call of Duty Mobile will feature Multiple PVP game modes, multiplayer with friends, a ton of classic maps like Crossfire, Nuketown, Crash along with a brand new Battle Royale mode.
During the Call of Duty Beta, I had a lot of trouble finding players for the Battle Royale mode, hopefully, the upcoming new version will see have this problem fixed.
