Google rolled out Android 11 Developer Preview 2 (DP2) with several new features a few days ago. Now, the tech gaint has released a patch update to fix several bugs in the previous roll-out.
Interestingly, Google followed the same pattern last month as well, where it released a patch update just a few weeks after the release of Android 11 DP1.
As one can expect, the new update fixes some issues that developers reported in the DP2. Here is the full changelog:
Again, all Android 11 updates (including Android 11 DP 2.1) are only available on Google Pixel devices, except the Pixel 1. Pixel owners can either flash the new update manually, use the Android flash tool, or wait for the OTA to arrive.
Meanwhile, there is still no word on the Google Beta program, the early Android release testing ground for a bunch of devices from different vendors. However, we can expect it in May, going by the previous Android 10 release timeline.
