Notably, The Pirate Bay already registered the new .MS extension many years ago but it didn’t use it as a primary domain until now. Last year, authorities busted the servers of the website in Sweden and this inspired the website operators to add six alternative domains to the website.

In other developments, the website domains also faced trouble as the registrars and registries suspended The Pirate Bay domain names multiple times.
