Apple Announces Its Annual Fall Event For September 15
Apple has announced that it will host its annual fall event on September 15, 2020. However, rumors indicated that Apple could push its new products’ release date, scheduled to be released this year, due to the Coronavirus Pandemic. The event date is unusual, as Apple generally unveils its products in the second week of September.
Apple has sent out event invites with a blue-colored doodled Apple logo, and this year the company has named its event “Time Flies.” This could be related to the launch of a new Apple Watch. The iPhone maker company also ran a hashtag #AppleEvent in the same Aqua shade. The color drops a subtle hint that this year we might see an iPhone 12 aqua color option.
Apple is expected to announce the iPhone 12, a new iPad Air, Apple Watch Series 6, Apple Tags, and new on-ear headphones. However, Bloomberg’s report says that Apple won’t unveil the new iPhone 12 at this event, and the event will be limited to showcasing the new iPad and new Apple Watch Series 6. According to Bloomberg’s Mark Gurman, Apple will release new iPhones later and not at this event.
Due to Coronavirus, the Apple event will be held virtually this year. You can stream the event on Apple’s official website, starting at 10 a.m. Pacific on September 15.
