Jio GigaFiber Could Bundle Up Broadband, TV & Landline For Just Rs 600
Since its announcement, Reliance Jio GigaFiber has been running under a pilot program in India. With many rumors surrounding the service, the latest one hints at its pricing, which could disrupt the broadband segment in India.
According to a report by LiveMint, Reliance Jio GigaFiber is expected to provide Indians with a combo of broadband, TV and landline services, priced at Rs 600 per month.
The bundle is likely to come up with additional services (such as gaming, closed-circuit television, and smart home systems) along with the ability to connect up to 40 devices to Jio’s smart home ecosystem for Rs 1,000.
The combo is expected to deliver 100GB data at 100MBPS, unlimited calling for the landline and TV channels over the internet via Internet Protocol Television.
For those who don’t know, the GigaFiber service is in the testing phase in New Delhi and Mumbai, providing users with 100GB of internet data at 100MBPS for free. However, users testing the service will have to pay Rs 4,500 as a deposit for the router.
Additionally, all three services will initially be rolled out for free for a year.
However, there is no confirmation on the aforementioned information, and we need to wait until something official is announced.
