Galaxy A7 Brings Samsung’s First Triple Camera Setup & Side Fingerprint
As it turns out, Samsung Galaxy S10 won’t be the first Samsung device to feature a triple camera setup. After many leaks, the company just unveiled the Galaxy A7 2018 edition for its mid-range segment.
The Samsung device is one of its kind. It holds a triple camera setup on the rear, which includes a 24MP primary lens with F1.7 aperture, 8MP ultra-wide F2.4 lens for wide-angle photos, and a 5MP F2.2 depth sensor.
On the front, there is a 24MP selfie shooter (F2.0) with an adjustable LED flash. The main takeaway from the trio camera setup is the 8MP ultra wide lens which has “same viewing angle as the human eye.” This will add more details when blurring the background in pictures
Also, this is Samsung’s first device in the smartphone market which comes with a side-mounted fingerprint sensor. And the security sensor is embedded in the power button itself.
Other Samsung Galaxy A7 Specifications include 6-inch FHD+ (1080×2220) Super AMOLED Infinity display and a 3,300mAh battery. The device comes in 4GB RAM and 6GB RAM models and supports microSD card support extending storage capacity up to 512 GB.
The Samsung device will arrive in blue, black, gold, and pink. As for the price, we seem to believe that the device will come around somewhere for $400.
Now that tri cam setup is unveiled on Samsung mid-range devices, it would be interesting to see the camera setup on Galaxy S10+ and the upcoming Samsung foldable phone.
