Facebook co-founder Mark Zuckerberg is creative, and the fact that he started what is now a ~$700 billion company from his dorm room is a clear example of his creativity. Zuckerberg has recently shown off his creativity in a new invention that has been exclusively designed for his wife Priscilla Chan.

In an Instagram post, Zuckerberg said that he has built a wooden box to help his wife sleep peacefully without having to check her phone for time.

He has named his invention the “sleep box.”

His post reads, “It sits on her nightstand, and between the hours of 6-7am it emits a very faint light — visible enough that if she sees it she’ll know it’s an okay time for one of us to get the kids, but faint enough that the light won’t wake her up if she’s still sleeping.”

The box doesn’t show time as it might distract Priscilla’s sleep and instead emits a faint light when it’s time for her to wake up.

Zuckerberg says being an engineer, inventing a device for his partner is the best means to express his gratitude towards her. He also mentions that his creation is already popular amongst his friends. Zuckerberg shared his “sleep box” invention on Facebook for entrepreneurs who might like to invent for more people.
