Xiaomi Redmi Note 7 To Launch In India On February 12

After Xiaomi unveiled the Redmi Note 7 under the newly established Redmi sub-brand, Xiaomi India has been teasing its launch in the country. Now, it is suggested that the smartphone is soon to make its entry this month.

According to a report by 91Mobiles, Xiaomi is expected to launch the Redmi Note 7 at an event scheduled for February 12 in New Delhi, India, for which the company has started sending out invites.

While the invite doesn’t scream Redmi Note 7, the outline of a smartphone with a water drop notch, the tagline “Apna Time Aayega” (which the company has been using to tease its India launch), and the text “Redmi Smartphone Launch” suggest we are going to see the Redmi Note 7 at the launch event.

To recall, the Redmi Note 7’s USP is the 48MP rear camera along with a 5MP shooter. The front camera stands at 13MP and all the cameras come with support for AI-based camera features.

Another highlight is the 6.3-inch water drop display with an aspect ratio rated at 19:9. The smartphone is powered by Qualcomm Snapdragon 660 processor and comes in three RAM/ROM variants: 3GB/32GB, 4GB/64GB, and 6GB/64GB, however, there is no word as to what all options will make it to India.

Additionally, the Redmi Note backed by a 4,000mAh battery runs the Android 8.1 Oreo and has a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner as well as facial recognition.

However, the Indian price and availability details are not known.
