Xiaomi has unveiled the Redmi Note 6 Pro that comes with a dual front and dual back camera. The phone is very much like its predecessor with a few key differences such as the display notch.
Xiaomi Redmi Note 6 Pro Specifications
The display screen now features 6.26-inch full-HD+IPS LCD full-screen panel with a 19:9 aspect ratio. The screen space is slightly bigger because of the notch, and the resolution is now 2280×1080.
It sports a 2.5D curved Corning Gorilla Glass glass at the front and the notch houses a dual camera setup — 20MP f/2.0 camera plus 2MP shooter for depth sensing. The front cameras come with 4-in-1 super pixel and AI face unlock capabilities.
The rear camera arrangement at the back is similar to Redmi Note 5 Pro’s 12MP+5MP lenses. It comes with Dual Pixel autofocus, 1.4-micron pixels, and AI portrait 2.0.
There is no improvement in the processor as the Redmi Note 6 Pro also has the 14nm octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 636 coupled with Adreno 509 GPU — like the Note 5 Pro.
This model has 4GB of RAM and 64GB storage, but another variant with 6GB of RAM and 128GB of storage is expected from Xiaomi at a later date.
Once again, like its previous generation, Redmi Note 6 Pro has a 4,000mAh battery under the hood. Other specs include Bluetooth 5.0, Wi-Fi ac IR sensor, and an MIUI build based on Android 8.1 Oreo.
