Triple Your Laptop Screen With Sliden’Joy to Make a Badass Workstation
It’s been a long time since Spacebook launched its dual screen laptops. For those who don’t know, these were the huge multi-screen hardware that got as heavy as 10 pounds. Well, for today’s generation, that doesn’t sound much like a carry-around like laptop.
The start-up is seeking funds through Kickstarter campaign for its displays that would work for both Mac and PC. Customers can choose from the two models offered by Sliden’Joy. A single screen will cost 199€ and the base price for the twins will be 299€. The makers have promised that the additional baggage would be light-weight and highly durable.
The displays that are hinged (3D printed hinges for now) at the sides of the main screen can rotate up to 180 degrees. The multi-screens are aimed to provide a super panoramic view to the user, with additional benefits at work, gaming and professional editing.
The Sliden’Joy screens will magnetically attach to the back of your laptop and can be slid out whenever you wish. The screens will connect to your laptop through either a single USB 3.0 port or two USB 2.0 ports.
The makers provide you with customizable Sliden’Joy screens with wooden, leather, alcantara and many other finishes. The additions would, however, cost you more.
With enough funds raised, the startup has planned to bring their Sliden’Joy in the markets within few months.
