Motorola Moto G7 Series With Notched Display Now Official
Following the various rumors and leaks, Lenovo-owned Motorola has made its next-gen Moto G7 series (the Moto G7, the Moto G7 Plus, the Moto G7 Power, and the Moto G7 Play) official in Brazil.
All smartphones have notched displays as their highlight. While the Moto G7 and the Moto G7 Plus sport a water drop notch, the Moto G7 Power and the Moto G7 Play come with conventional ones.
Moto G7
The Moto G7 comes with a 6.24-inch IPS Full HD+ water drop display and is powered by an octa-core Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor, clocked at 1.8GHz. It comes equipped with 4GB of RAM and 64GB of internal storage.
In the camera department, there is a rear dual-camera module, rated at 12MP and 5MP with support for the Bokeh effect. The one at the front stands at 8MP.
The smartphone is backed by a 3,000mAh battery with 5W TurboPower charging and runs Android 9.0 Pie.
The Moto G7 is priced at R$ (Brazilian Real) 1,599.
Moto G7 Plus
The Moto G7 Plus is the elder sibling of the Moto G7 and shares most of the specs, except for the camera configuration and processor. The Moto G7 Plus comes with a 16MP and 5MP dual rear cameras, along with a 12MP front-facing snapper, and is powered by Qualcomm’s Snapdragon 636 SoC.
The Moto G7 Plus retails at R$ 1,899.
Moto G7 Power
The Moto G7 Power features a 6.2-inch IPS HD+ display, Qualcomm Snapdragon 632 processor, 4GB of RAM, and 32GB of onboard storage. Camera-wise, there is a 12MP rear camera and an 8MP front snapper.
The device is backed by a massive 5,000mAh battery and runs Android 9.0 Pie.
The Moto G7 Power comes with a price tag of R$ 1,399.
Moto G7 Play
The Moto G7 Play has a 5.7-inch IPS HD+ display with a notch and is powered by an octa-core Snapdragon 632 processor. It comes with 2GB of RAM and 32GB of onboard storage. On the camera front, there is a single 13MP primary camera with an 8MP selfie shooter.
The device gets its fuel from a 3,000mAh battery and runs Android 9.0 Pie.
The Moto G7 Play is priced at R$ 999.
All the smartphones in the Moto G7 series come with a rear-mounted fingerprint scanner embedded in the Motorola logo.
The Moto G7, the Moto G7 Plus, the Moto G7 Power, and the Moto G7 Play will be available starting today in Brazil and Mexico, followed by other markets.
