Today, Xiaomi announced the much-anticipated Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro at an online-only launch event in China.

As expected from Xiaomi, both devices are packed with extraordinary specifications, including the latest Snapdragon 865 SoC, 12GB RAM option, and a quad-camera with a 108MP sensor.

Unfortunately, the launch excitement wasn’t shared by Xiaomi fans in India since the Chinese-tech giant has not released an Mi phone in the country for a long time. However, this could change with Mi 10.

Other than this, Xiaomi India MD Manu Kumar Jain also confirmed the release of the Mi 10 series India launch in a bunch of tweets. He mentions that Xiaomi will likely export the Mi 10 devices to India since the tech required to make the smartphone is not available in the country.

This will undoubtedly impact the pricing of the Mi 10 series, as Manu also admitted. Exporting the Mi devices will likely affect their availability in India as well, and the ongoing deadly Coronavirus will worsen the situation.

Previously, Xiaomi India told Gadgets360 that it plans to bring premium flagship devices under the Mi label in India. The Chinese tech giant could use this opportunity to export previous Mi models, including Mi Note 10 and the Mi 9 series.

Xiaomi launched Mi 10 and Mi 10 Pro for a starting price of CNY3,999 (~ Rs 41000) and CNY4,999 (~Rs 56000), respectively.
