iOS 14 Leak Reveals New Android-Like ‘List View’ Option, AR App & More

iPhone new home screen list view

Apple is working to introduce a new interface for the home screen of the upcoming iOS 14. As per iOS 14 code leaks, the home screen will come with a new page that will provide the users with a list type of view of all the application icons.

In the current version of iOS, users can view the apps via home screen icons and search. The new page that will be added in the iOS 14 will come with a list of applications icons. This will allow the users to get all their apps at a single place.

The code leaks have also suggested additional features that we could see in iOS 14. As per the reports, a new app based on augmented reality will allow users to obtain more information about real-world objects by pointing their iPhone’s camera at them.

Another point in the leaks suggests that a few third-party apps will be integrated into the wallpaper section of iPhone settings. If this turns out to be true, it will be one of the biggest features of iOS 14.

Apple could also introduce #ShotOniPhone competitions in the Photos app. As per the report by 9to5Mac, more iOS 14 leaks will surface soon.

However, it is not sure that all the features, including the list view, Siri suggestions, and AR camera, will be launched with the iOS 14. A lot of features could be scrapped or postponed for a later update if the development takes time.

Previously, the notable analyst Ming-Chi Kuo said that Apple could launch 6 mini LED products this year including a 14.1-inch MacBook Pro.
