Samsung recently showcased the new Infinity-O display which comes with a hole in the display to accommodate the selfie camera. This marks the coming of a new display type after the usual notched ones.
Now, a new rumor suggests that Huawei (in competition with Samsung) will unveil a smartphone with the same concept. According to a post by the company’s Weibo account, Huawei is soon to launch a new smartphone, allegedly called Nova 4 in December this year.
While the teaser doesn’t reveal much about the upcoming device, the smartphone is expected to feature a hole at the top left-hand corner of the display to make way for really thin bezels.
However, there is no word on the exact date of release as of now.
Even though not much is available about the purported Nova 4, it is speculated that the smartphone could come with a full-screen display and is likely to be powered by the company’s own Kirin 980 processor.
The smartphone might come with four cameras; two at the back and two at the front, much like its predecessor- Nova 3 and support AI-based camera features.
However, there is nothing concrete available at the moment. To know about Huawei’s upcoming smartphone with a hole, we will have to wait until December.
So, stay tuned to this space for more!
