7680fps Slo-Mo Could Be Possible — Thanks To Upcoming Huawei Mate 30 Pro
Huawei is just a day away from launching its high-end Mate 30 series (comprising the Mate 30, the Mate 30 Pro, and the Mate 30 Lite) and rumors surrounding the devices are still pouring in. The latest buzz is all about the Mate 30 Pro’s camera capabilities, which might put all of us in awe of the new device.
7680fps Slo-Motion videos! Wait, what?
A new leak has let out some details about the Mate 30 Pro, which gives us an inkling that Huawei is yet again going to do wonders in the smartphone arena. But one feature that made me re-read the leak is that the smartphone is likely to support slow-motion videos at a stupendous 7680fps.
If the number doesn’t make you go WOW, you must know that the current flagships such as the Samsung Galaxy Note 10+ support slow-motion videos at 960fps.
If at all the rumor turns true, I am just waiting to see exactly how the slo-mo works on the device, and I am hoping reaallyy slloowww videosss.
As for the other camera specs, the Mate 30 Pro is expected to feature four rear cameras (40MP, 40MP, 8MP, 3D depth sensor).
The smartphone is rumored to support Ultra High Definition night camera, meaning Huawei’s night mode will see impressive improvements. Speaking of the front camera configuration, right now, we haven’t heard anything about it.
Other Huawei Mate 30 Pro specs
As for the other specifics, the Huawei Mate 30 Pro could sport a 6.6-inch Super AMOLED curved waterfall display. With a waterfall display, it means that the curved edges will fall seamlessly to 90 degrees, giving less room for bezels and more room for the screen.
It is expected to come with a Kirin 990 processor, a 4,500mAh battery with 40W fast charging tech. However, what could turn out to be a deal-breaker for many is the support for 27W wireless charging.
While the device will run the latest Android 10 (with EMUI 10 on top), it won’t support Google apps, which might create some trouble for the company.
However, a workaround is expected from Huawei, which could possibly make things normal (if not amazing) for the company.
Huawei Mate 30 series design
As Huawei tries to produce design-centric smartphones each year, the Mate 30 series won’t be any different.
As per the leak, the Huawei Mate 30 and the Mate 30 Pro could feature a circular camera bump at the back, suggesting that the circle is the new shape for smartphone cameras.
The one on the Huawei Mate 30 series appears to be a sleek version of the digital cameras (if you remember the Sony Cybershot series) we used to have years back.
The smartphones are expected to be hued in Space Silver, Cosmic Purple, Black, and Emerald Green.
Huawei Mate 30 and Mate 30 Lite are in tow too!
Apart from the high-end Mate 30 model, Huawei will launch the Mate 30 and the Mate 30 Lite.
The Mate 30 is likely to have a 6.5-inch display, a Kirin 990 processor, and up to 6GB of RAM.
The smartphone is also expected to feature a quad-camera module at the back, a 4,200mAh battery, and Android 10. As for the Huawei Mate 30 Lite, not much is known.
We have to wait until the Huawei event scheduled for September 19 in Europe for a better and conclusive idea about the Huawei Mate 30 series.
