list of motorola devices getting the android 12 update

Lenovo has retained one of the things that Motorola devices were popular for, clean software experience. As Beta 4 is already out and it’s time for the first release candidate of Android 12 to hit the Pixel devices, followed by the first stable release. In this article, let’s look at the list of Motorola devices getting the Android 12 update.

Motorola’s journey of making Android phones may have started from the Cliq and Droid, but the G series and E series of devices show what it’s capable of. The American smartphone maker was first acquired by Google and then Lenovo, and let’s say things have been pretty uninspiring since.

Bear in mind that this is not the official list. Motorola is yet to confirm if the above devices will be receiving the Android 12 update.

But considering that some of these devices are flagships released a year ago and mid-range devices launched recently, the chances of them getting the update is high.

The above list includes devices released in 2020 and 2021 such as the Motorola Edge 20.

Motorola flagships get two major software updates, and mid-range devices get one.

Lenovo has been pretty sloppy in providing major Android updates, but expect the recently-launched flagships to be updated a few months after Android 12’s stable release.
