If there’s something that takes the trophy for keeping GTA 5 at the top all these years, then it’s the GTA 5 mods. There is an ocean of GTA 5 mods out there. Some of them are entirely useless; however, some of them create a whole different universe in GTA 5.
GTA 5 Zombie Apocalypse mod is one of those many mods that’ll make you wonder if you’re actually playing Grand Theft Auto 5.
If you’ve ever watched The Walking Dead TV show, then this GTA 5 mod transforms the game into precisely that. It’s basically like playing The Walking Dead game without having to pay for it.
GTA 5 Mods: Zombie Apocalypse In Grand Theft Auto 5
SteveTheGamer55, a popular GTA 5 YouTuber, posted a 23 minutes gameplay of GTA 5 Zombie Apocalypse Mod.
If you’re thinking that it’s just a bunch of flesh-eating monsters roaming the streets of Los Santos, then you can’t be more wrong. Its a lot more than that.
Steve starts off the game with Trevor staying in a community of survivors, which is secured from all sides. In the game, Trevor is like Rick Grimes of ‘The Walking dead,’ who recruits other people for the community.
Steve finds out that not far from the community, there’s a group of friendly survivors. So, he decides to go out for a while on one of the abandoned trucks.
However, Steve’s plan of adding more people to the community ends terribly. Those friendly survivors get killed by hostiles before he even reaches there.
Just like in AMC’s Walking Dead, hostiles usually attack other survivors for their food and supplies. I know, this GTA 5 Zombie mod makes things extremely exciting.
Thankfully, Steve finds another group of survivors who are still alive. Then, he recruits one of those survivors and goes on to search for food and gas. The funniest part about this is definitely when the recruited survivor keeps shooting at every zombie he sees.
In GTA 5 Zombie Apocalypse mode, there are several hostile territories where you can find loot boxes with all sorts of supplies. Hostile zones full of armed enemies make surviving in Los Santos a lot harder.
Steve manages to loot the supplies by killing all the hostiles; however, this confrontation gets the recruited guy with Trevor killed. So, Trevor is now all alone in an apocalyptic zombie world.
What makes things more interesting is that you’ll get to see zombies in GTA 5 eating the flesh of people. So, while looting crates for supplies and saving friendly survivors from hostiles, Steve has to be careful from Zombies.
Now, after a whole day of killing and surviving, Steve heads back to his base only to find out that some members of his group turned against each other. So, unfortunately, he had no choice but to kill the members who turned against the group.
If you are a fan of GTA 5 who keeps on trying different mods, then GTA 5 Zombie Apocalypse mod is definitely worth trying. The mod always keeps you on the edge of your seat with a whole lot of new challenges.
